Church Point, LA:         A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 22, 2021 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard, LA for John Dale Bourgeois, 61. Mr. Bourgeois, a long-time resident of rural Acadia Parish near Branch, LA, passed away Monday morning, May 17 at The Carpenter House in Lafayette, LA. Reverend Wayne Duet, pastor of the church, will be the celebrant of the Mass; interment will be at a later date. Visitation will be limited to the mass.

He is survived by a brother, Jonathan Bourgeois of Branch; a sister, Gemma B. Osgood and husband John of Plano, TX; his nieces and nephews: Gina Daire; Mea, Jody and Kadi Bourgeois; Carmen, Cathryn and Colin Johns; Josh Osgood and Victor and Mason Benoit and his extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Janelle Bourgeois; a sister, Julie Bourgeois and a nephew, Toby Jenkins.

A hard worker in the roofing industry for a number of years, Mr. Bourgeois will be missed by family and friends.
