Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Guidry Funeral Home, Church Point for John Belvin "Beed" Tweedel, 56. Mr. Tweedel, a native and long-time resident of Lewisburg, La., died on Sunday evening, September 26 at his residence there. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the St. John Cemetery in Lewisburg.

Survivors include two brothers, Carol Tweedel and wife Elaine of Lewisburg and Keith Tweedel and wife Juanita of Lafayette, La.; four sisters: Connie Manuel and husband David of Sunset, La., Debbie Thibodeaux and Charlene Guidry and husband Keith- all of Spring, Tex. and Vanessa Chambers and husband Johnny of Houston, Tex. He will also be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Ivy Daigle Tweedel.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 6:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 29 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Thursday until the time of the services.

A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on wednesday by Deacon Bryne Winn.
