Church Point, LA:         A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday October 2, 2021 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard, LA for Jocelyn LeJeune, 93, the former Jocelyn Ledoux. Mrs. LeJeune, a lifetime resident of rural Acadia Parish near Richard, passed away Thursday, September 30 at the Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point, LA. Father Korey LaVergne, pastor of the church, will be the celebrant of the Mass and interment will be in the St. Edward Cemetery adjacent to the church.

She is survived by her daughters, Charlene Castille of Eunice, LA and Jeanette Bellard of Church Point; a sister, Etheline Boone of Baker, LA; a son-in-law, Charles Jagneaux of Richard; a daughter-in-law, Gloria LeJeune of Richard; her grandchildren: Monica McClung, Brian LeJeune, Nicole Landry, Douglas Castille, Lisa Fontenot, Kim Hoffpauir, Gerard Jagneaux, Jason Bellard and Michele Sonnier; twelve great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Harry LeJeune; her parents, Joachin and Ella Daigle Ledoux; a son, Lubert LeJeune; a daughter, Grace Jagneaux; a sister, Irene Turner and two sons-in law, Jesse Bellard and Calvin Castille.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, October 1 and continue from 8:00 AM Saturday until the time of services. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 7:00 PM Friday by Crystal Jagneaux. A loving wife, mother and grandmother; Mrs. LeJeune was truly loved and will be missed by her extended family and friends. Guidry Funeral Home, 219 N.
