Church Point, LA:     Memorial graveside services will be held at a later date for Ms. Joann P. Gianfala, 72, who passed away at 5:07 AM Sunday, May 21, 2023 at her sister's residence in Opelousas, LA.

Joann, a native of Opelousas, was the daughter of the late Raymond Pepitone and the former Jessie Joubert.

She is survived by her mother, Jessie Clark of Opelousas; her son, Victor J. "VJ" Gianfala, III of Shreveport, LA; her companion, Joseph C. "Tic" Faul of Church Point; three grandchildren: Kayla Jo Gianfala, Allie Gianfala and Alyssa Gianfala; two sisters, Rita Satterly of Opelousas and Deborah Chachere of Lafayette, LA and a brother, Charles Pepitone. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Pepitone and one sister, Cynthia Durio.

Employed as a bookkeeper at Gianfala and Son in Church Point for a number of years, Ms. Gianfala was truly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
