Church Point, LA: A Memorial Service will be held at a date to be determined by his family for Jesus Lopez Hortelano, 45. Mr. Lopez Hortelano, a native of Guanajuato, Mexico, and resident of Church Point, LA, died Wednesday morning, May 13 in an accident near Church Point.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Esquivel and stepfather to his children, Hunter Olivier of Church Point; his mother, Ana Lopez Hortelano of Mexico; his daughters: Sofia Isabel Guia, Serina Analyce and Sianna Marie Lopez and Savanna Grace Lopez Hortelano of Church Point; his sons, Emilio Jesus and Isaiah Alberto “Zay Zay” Lopez Hortelano; six sisters and six brothers. He was preceded in death by his father, Alberto Lopez Ramirez.

A hard-working pool construction worker for a number of years; Mr. Lopez Hortelano was a loving son, sibling, husband and parent. Truly loved, he will be missed by his extended family and all who knew him.
