Church Point, LA:       A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, May 2, 2022 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Mr. Jason Thibodeaux, 43, who passed away on Saturday, April 30 at his residence. Rev. Fr. Père David Rozas, Parochial Vicar of Our Lady Of The Sacred Heart Church, will be the Celebrant of the Mass.

Jason, a resident of Church Point, was the son of J.Y. Thibodeaux and the former Peggy Matte. His children were the most important thing in life. Always the life of the party who loved to see people laugh, Jason was a loving, caring person who would give you the shirt off of his back.

He is survived by his daughter, Jadith Thibodeaux of Lewisburg, LA; his son, Caiden Thibodeaux of Lewisburg; his parents, J.Y. and Peggy Thibodeaux of Church Point; one brother, Kevin Thibodeaux and wife Melissa of Church Point; his niece and Godchild, Abigail Thibodeaux and the mother of his children, Ciji Thibodeaux of Lewisburg. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elvina and Pierre Thibodeaux and his maternal grandparents, Ivy Matte and Jane Matte.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, from 9:00 AM until the time of the mass at 1:00 PM.
