Church Point, LA:         A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Point Church (Church Point Pentecostals) in Church Point, LA for Janelle Janise, 77, the former Janelle Boudreaux. Mrs. Janise, a native of Church Point, passed away Friday, February 26 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Pastor Jonathan Lewis of Lifepoint Church of Carencro, LA and Rev. Glen Murphy of Grace Church of Central LA will conduct the service and interment will be in the First Baptist Cemetery on Hwy 35 north of Church Point.
She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Janise (companion Larry DeLoach) of Denham Springs, LA, two sisters, Mildred "Sister" Arceneaux and Shirlene Gianfala (Kenneth)-all of Church Point; her grandchildren: Jonathan Janise (Cassie), Joshua Janise and Tony Jacobs; her great-grandchildren: Dominic, Damian, Kaylee, Jeanne and Charlie and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jarsin and Lillian Brasseaux Boudreaux; her husband, John Bob Janise; a son, Darrin Janise; her brothers, Moise and Jeroy Boudreaux and her mother-in-law, Doris Labbe Pedigo.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Point Church (800 S. Main St., Church Point) from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Pallbearers will be Lance, Wade, Cullen, Dominic, Jonathan and Quinn. A school bus driver in Baton Rouge for 20 years, Mrs. Janise enjoyed church, bus trips with friends and family holiday gatherings with abundant food at their camp at Bayou Courtableu and her niece's camp at Toledo Bend. The family wishes to thank special caregivers, Kim and Mona Hoffpauir, who gave their all in her final months of life.
