Church Point, La A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday February11, 2016 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, La. for James Ricky Richard, 59. Mr. Richard , a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Saturday evening February 6 at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette, La. Deacon Bryne Winn will conduct the services with interment to be determined by the family.

Survivors include a son, Andre Richard of Church Point; three daughters, Michelle Richard, Haley Richard LeJeune and husband Jake and Taylor Richard-all of Church Point; a brother, Kurt Richard of Church Point; three sisters, Dedria Daigle and husband Chad of Lafayette, Leslie Hollier of Church Point and Dana Richard of Maurice, La. and three grandchildren, Madelyn Lejeune, Lexis Richard and Noah Richard.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph "JB" and Elmire Matte Richard and a brother, Dillard Richard.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Thursday. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 1:30 P.M. by Deacon Winn .
