Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for James E. Quebodeaux, 71. Mr. Quebodeaux, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died at 5:45 A.M. Monday, September 5 at his residence. Father Stephen Ugwu will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly (Olivier) Quebodeaux of Church Point; his sons, Bryan Quebodeaux and wife Josette and Christopher Quebodeaux and wife Tammy-all of Church Point; his brothers: Kenneth Quebodeaux and wife Marie of Cottonport, La., John Hanks and wife Charlene of Church Point and Ronnie Hanks and wife Sandra of Rayne, La.; his sisters, Patsy Hanks and Mona Quebodeaux and husband Richard-all of Crowley, La.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Preston and Ella Mae (Prejean) Quebodeaux.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 6 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of the services.

A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday by Deacon Jim Cormier.
