Church Point, LA:     Funeral Services will be held at a later date for James Larry Olivier, 71. Mr. Olivier, a native and resident of Church Point, LA, died Monday evening, December 15 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.

Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Theresa Stelly Olivier of Church Point; his daughters, Deborah Olivier and Angela Cormier-both of Church Point; his grandchildren: Dennis Normand, Jr., Jayse Fontenot, Camryn Normand and Karson Cormier and his extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Ella Mae Briscoe Olivier; a brother, Russell Olivier and his best friend and service dog, "Brewskie".

A hard-working consultant in the oilfield for a number of years; Mr. Olivier was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Truly loved, he will be missed by all who knew him.
