Religious and Military Veteran Funeral Services were held at 2:15 P.M. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Guidry Funeral Home; Church Point, La. for James Ronald Matte, Sr.,57, who died at 10:20 A.M. Monday, February 11, 2008 at his residence in Church Point. Deacon Jim Cormier, Commander Dallas Matte and the American Legion-VFW Honor Guard performed the services. Mr. Matte was a native of Church Point and a Viet Nam War veteran.
