Church Point, LA:     A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Our Lady of The Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Mr. James Dale "Jimmy" Carriere, 64, who passed away at 5:13 AM Monday, December 19 at his residence. Fr. Brian Harrington, pastor of the church, will be the Celebrant of the Mass and entombment will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum on Hwy 35.

"Jimmy", a life-long resident of Church Point was the son of the late Joseph Milton Carriere and the former Mary Celise Matte. He is survived by his twin daughters, Jessica Wynn and husband Billy and Julie Guidry and husband Dustin-all of Church Point; two sons, Justin Carrier and wife Jynna and Jared Carrier and wife Heather-all of Church Point; twelve grandchildren: Lainey, William and Maggie Wynn: Abigail, Grant and Elana Guidry and Thomas, Julia, Chloe, Parker, Ivy and Collin Carrier and his sister, Pat Venable and husband James of Church Point. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Jeanette Carriere. Truly loved, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 21, from 8:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Mass at 2:00 PM.
