Church Point, La. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 29, 2015 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, La. for James Lester Clavier, 60. Mr. Clavier, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Friday evening, June 26 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point. Pastor Josh Carrier will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include a son, Tyson Clavier of Lafayette, La.; two brothers, Henry Clavier of Eunice, La. and Nelson Clavier of Church Point; two sisters, Gloria Carrier and Betty C. Gaultier and husband Richard-all of Church Point and a grandchild, Delaney Orr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilton and Rena Cormier Clavier and two brothers, Clyde and Roy Clavier.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 28 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Monday until the time of the services.
