Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Friday, May 17, 2013 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, La. for James Todd "Buck" Prejean, 46. Mr. Prejean, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died at 12:14 P.M. Tuesday, May 14 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, La. Monsignor Jefferson J. Deblanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include his sisters, Arleen Fruge and husband Mitchell and Donna Arnaud and husband Troy-all of Church Point; his nieces and nephews: Heather Maroon and husband Jason, Andy Fruge and wife Hollie and Nick and Canaan Daigle and his great nieces and great nephew, Adley and Camden Maroon and Leah Blake Boudreaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Joyce (Matte) Prejean; a niece, Stephanie Daigle; a great niece, Natiyah Daigle and a brother-in-law, Blake Daigle.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 16 and continue from 9:00 A.M. Friday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday by Monsignor DeBlanc.
