Church Point, LA Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Guidry Funeral Home for Mr. James M. "Bozo" Daigle, 70, who passed away at 5:54 PM on Thursday, January 18 at CHRISTUS St. Francis Cabrini Hospital. Deacon Byrne Winn will conduct the funeral services.
James, a resident of Branch, Louisiana was the son of the late Benton Daigle and the former Lima Matte. Known to his friends as "Bozo", he was a very talented auto body repair and paint technician. He loved animals and muscle cars of all makes and models and would give you the shirt off of his back.He is survived by three daughters, Vanessa Lynn Hueneke and husband Jason of Bellevue, IA, Jessica Rene Daigle and partner Shannon Riley of Lafayette, LA and Seri Boone of Eunice, LA; seven grandchildren, Alicia McClendon, Hunter Babineaux, Nicholas Babineaux, Shelbee Bourque, Lynzie Collins, Zackary Mouton and Gabriel Alleman; two great grandchildren, Ava Matte and Teagan Jackson and one sister, Jennifer Comeaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jared Scott Daigle and two brothers, Charlemagne Daigle and Blake Daigle.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM and continue on Sunday from 8:00 AM until the time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM in the funeral home Saturday evening.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter of your choice.
