Church Point, La. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, La. for Jaime Matte, 38, the former Jaime Lynn LaCombe. Mrs. Matte, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Monday morning, June 1st at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, La. Father Stephen Ugwu will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include her mother, Debra Briscoe LaCombe ; her husband, Clint Matte; her son, Burton Layne Matte; her daughter, Morgan Matte; a brother, Eric LaCombe and her maternal grandfather, Ralph Briscoe-all of Church Point.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul LaCombe; a brother, Joshua LaCombe and her maternal grandmother, Arlene Guillory Briscoe.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home beginning 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 2 and continuing uninterrupted until the time of the services on Wednesday. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday by Deacon Bryne Winn.
Pallbearers will be Troy, Brandon, Layne and Clint Matte with Eric LaCombe and Caleb Quibodeaux. Braxton Meche will be an honorary pallbearer.
