Funeral Services were held at11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Church Point, La. for Ivan "Bright" Jagneaux, 66, who died at 11:00 P.M. Sunday, June 13, 2004 at his residence in Church Point. Monsignor Fred Swenson conducted the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Daigle Jagneaux of Church Point; three sons: Johnaton Jagneaux and wife Nikki, James Jagneaux and Christopher Jagneaux- all of Church Point; a daughter, Lynn Jagneaux of Church Point; a brother, Filton Jagneaux of Church Point and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Avery and Louisa Lejeune Jagneaux and a brother, Ivy Jagneaux.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 15 and continue from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Wednesday.
A recitation of the Rosary was held at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday by Deacon Jim Cormier.

A life-long resident of Church Point, Mr. Jagneaux was a retired truck driver.
