Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 6, 2011 at the Church Point United Methodist Church for Mrs. Isabell Daigle, 86, the former Isabell Benoit. Mrs. Daigle, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died at 11:13 A.M. Wednesday, January 4 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point. Reverend Robert Clark will conduct the services with interment following in the United Methodist Cemetery adjacent to the Church.

Survivors include a son, Glenn Daigle and wife Annette of Church Point; her grandchildren: Sarah Daigle Broadway and husband Shane, Ryan Daigle, Allison Daigle and Michael Daigle and fiancee Sara Chiasson-all of Church Point and Katherine Daigle, Larry Daigle and wife Coleen and Jennifer Daigle-all of Houston, Tex.; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Daigle; a son, Lawrence "Toony" Daigle, Jr.; a grandson, John Glenn Daigle, Jr.; her parents, Oneo and Alice (Bergeron) Benoit; three sisters and four brothers.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 5 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Friday until the time of the services.
