Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M.Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at St. Edmund Catholic Church in Branch, La. for Irene Bellard Matte 90,who died at 4:00 A.M. Sunday, May 6, 2007 at American Legion Hospital in Crowley. Mrs. Matte was born Jan. 26, 1917.
Interment will be in the St. Edmund Cemetery in Branch, La. with Fr. Francis Bourgeois conducting the services.
Survivors include one great-granddaughter, Shannon Hollier of Scott, La., one great-grandson, Lance Matte of Rayne, La. And one sister, Beatrice Beaugh of Lake Charles, La.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonce Matte, one son, Earl Matte and one grandson, Mickey Matte.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 7, 2007 until 10:00 P.M., and continue from 8:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 8, 2007 until services at 2:00 P.M.
Rosary will be recited on Monday, May 7, 2007 at 7:00 P.M
