Church Point, LA:    Mr. Huey James Leger, 62, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at 3:30 AM.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 29, at his residence. Friends and family will speak at the memorial service.

Huey, born in Lafayette and a resident of Church Point, was the son of the late Mr. Albert Leger and the former Betty Matte.

He is survived by three daughters: Charlie Leger of Conway, AR, Jessica Dardy and husband Gurmeet of Hartsville, SC and Makayla Leger of Hartsville; his fianceé, Sandra Cole of Church Point; four grandchildren: Clara Criss, Jenny Criss, Ziyah Dardy and Jojo Dardy; two sisters, Nanette Leger and Glenda Prejean and two brothers, Harry and Brian Leger. He was preceded in death by his parents,.
