Church Point, LA:         A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, August 16, 2021 at the St. John Catholic Chapel in Lewisburg, LA for Hilton "Bobby" Hollier, Jr., 93. Mr. Hollier, a native and lifetime resident of Lewisburg, passed away Friday, August 13 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point. Reverend Father "Père" Rozas, parochial vicar of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, will be the celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the committal services in the St. John Cemetery adjacent to the church.

He is survived by a son, Keith Hollier and wife Connie of Church Point; four daughters: Melissa Richard and husband Kenneth of Carencro, LA, Charmaine Miller and husband Darrel of Prairie Ronde, LA, Geralyn "Gerry" Domingue and husband David of Lewisburg and Maggie Comeaux and husband Tommy of Church Point; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilton Hollier, Sr. and Emma Brasseaux Hollier; his wife, Iona Fontenot Hollier; a grandson, Dustin Hollier; his brothers: Elmer, Wilbur, Wilfred and Wilman Hollier and Wilson "TeeTee" Hollier and his sisters: Ethel Dore, Ruby Schwartzenburg, Grace Edmond and Marie Louise Joubert Bourque.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 9:00 AM Monday until the time of services. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 12:00 Noon by "Père" Rozas. Devoted to his family, Mr. Hollier was a hard-working, self-employed carpenter for most of his life. He will be missed by all who knew him. Guidry Funeral Home, 219 N.
