Church Point, LA:     Funeral Services will be held at11:00 AM Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Hazel Bearb, 75, the former Hazel Mae LaBauve. Mrs. Bearb, a native of Lake Arthur, LA and resident of Church Point, died Friday morning, September 8 at her residence. Father Brian Harrington, pastor of the church, will conduct the services with interment following in Bellevue Memorial Park on Hwy 182 south of Opelousas, LA.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Bearb, Sr. of Church Point; her sons, Todd Brasseaux of Frankfurt, Germany and Chad Brasseaux of Ohio; her stepsons: Ronald Bearb, Jr. of Eunice, LA, Morris Bearb of Houston, TX and Travis Bearb and Christopher Bearb-both of Lafayette, LA; two grandchildren, two siblings and her extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Ezou Pitre LaBauve.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 8:00 AM Tuesday until the time of services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 10:00 AM Tuesday by Deacon David Menard.

Mrs. Bearb, a CNA for a number of years, was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Truly loved, she will be missed by all who knew her. Arrangements are being handled by Guidry Funeral Home, Inc.; 219 N. Broadway, Church Point, LA (337) 684-5488.
