Church Point, LA:     In the interest of public safety and with regard for our families' feelings, a private graveside service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020 at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hwy 35, Church Point, LA for Harry Conrad Duplechin, 88. Mr. Duplechin, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Wednesday morning, April 22 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point. Deacon Bryne Winn will conduct the service with interment immediately following.

Survivors include his faithful companion, Eve Miller of Church Point; a son, Joseph Harry Duplechin of Mire, LA; a stepson, Robert Duhon of Brusly, LA; a grandchild and five step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Elena Elkins Duplechin; his wife, Ethel Robert Duplechin; two brothers, two sisters and a stepson.

A U.S. Army veteran who was employed as a maintenance man by Freeport-McMoran for some thirty-three years, Mr. Duplechin will be honored with a Flag Presentation Ceremony at the time of service.
