Church Point, LA A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Harold Joseph Thibodeaux, 89. Mr. Thibodeaux, a native of Church Point and currently a resident of rural Lafayette Parish near Duson, LA, died Wednesday morning, November 29 at his residence. Interment will be held at a later date.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Manuel Thibodeaux of Duson; his daughters, Evelyn Dohmann and husband Wayne of Church Point and Phyllis Krebs and husband August of Lafayette, LA; his grandchildren, Dana Russell and husband Jamey, Erich Dohmann and Sybil Nasser and husband Waj and his great-grandchildren, Logan Dohmann and Harlow Nasser. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Beulah Royer Thibodeaux and his sister, Beverly Thibodeaux.

The family requested that there be visitation at the church on Saturday from 8:30 A.M. until the time of service. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there prior to the service.

Mr. Thibodeaux, a veteran of the U.S. Army's First Cavalry Division in the Post-World War II Far East, was an entrepreneur in the manufacture and sale of varied industrial chemical products. He was truly loved and will be sadly missed by family, friends and peers.
