Church Point, LA:     Memorial services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Our Lady of The Sacred Heart Chapel in Church Point, LA for Mr. Gregory P. McBride, 44, who passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at his residence.

Gregory, a resident of Church Point, was the son of Mr. Alton Ray Thibodeaux and Roma McBride Henry. He worked as an electrician's helper. Greg was a loving brother, nephew, uncle and friend. He was a simple man who will be remembered as a person with a heart of gold who always looked out for the people that meant the moon to him. He enjoyed playing video games and collecting things such as coins, baseball cards and comic books. He enjoyed being with people that meant the most to him. They know that he is happy to be with the people he missed dearly-his grandfather, grandmother and wife-and that he knows he will be deeply missed by the ones who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Roma Henry of Church Point; one sister, Chantel McBride of Church Point; one niece, Halle Callandret; three nephews, Lander Callandret, Triston Guidroz and Trendon Guidroz who was his God child; his best friend, Ray Lebouef; an aunt, Sally Daigle and a cousin Christie Daigle Theriot. He was preceded in death by his wife, Petra Briscoe and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Norwood McBride.
