Church Point, La.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Church Point, La. for Gloria Carriere Boudreaux, 66, the former Gloria Ann Carriere. She died at 1:30 P.M. Monday, June 9, 2008 at her residence in Church Point. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery; Highway 35, Church Point.
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Martel Benoit and husband Fred of Church Point and two grandsons, Cain and Trevor Benoit of Church Point.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Martel, Jr.; her parents, F L and Irene Lavergne Carriere; a brother, Larry Carriere, Sr.; a nephew, Larry Carriere, Jr. and her best friend , Ilsa.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 10 and continue from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Wednesday.
A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday by Monsignor DeBlanc.
