Church Point, LA: Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Mr. Glenn Anthony Bellard, 64, who passed away on Saturday morning, December 1 at Tulane Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Deacon Jim Cormier will conduct the funeral services and burial will take place in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Hwy 35 north of Church Point.
Glenn, a resident of Church Point, was the son of the late Larry Bellard and the former Wynona Huckaby. An agricultural consultant and member of Masonic Lodge #313 in Rayne, LA; he enjoyed cooking, and above all, being with his family. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jane M. Bellard of Church Point, LA; two daughters, Erin Bellard of Church Point and Lauren Signorelli and husband Tony of Rayne; three sons, Nicholas Bellard and fiancee' Betty Higginbotham of Church Point, Andrew Bellard of Lafayette, LA and Kevin Bellard and wife Jenni of Church Point; ten grandchildren: Ava and Carter Ashbaugh, August, Emery, Georgia and Cullen Bellard, Luke, Maddie and Emi Bellard, and Caroline Signorelli; four sisters, Ruth Ann Greenhaw, Paula Verret, Robin Langlinais and Sherry Stutes; his Godchild, Emily Gautreaux and her daughter Hattie Gautreaux and a niece, Sarah Stutes. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter-in-law, Jenny G. Bellard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Monday, December 3 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the time of services.
