Church Point, LA:          Graveside funeral services will be held at a later date at Mount Olive Cemetery in Big Spring, TX, for Mrs. Glenda Hinson, 84, who passed away on Friday evening, July 10 at Acadia-St. Landry Guest Home in Church Point, LA.
Glenda, a resident of the Mire, LA area, was the daughter of the late Julius Nix and former Gladys Biffle.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bernon Hinson of Mire; two sons, Jon Aaron Hinson of Mire and Bobby Darryl Hinson of Lafayette, LA; four grandchildren, Bobby Darryl Hinson, Jr. of Lafayette, Mark Able Hinson of Lafayette, Trelany Nicole Hinson Andrade of San Antonio, TX and Natasha Lynn Hinson of Lafayette; two great-grandchildren, Ezra Zayne and Adalynn Zuri Andrade and one sister, Joyce Evans of Big Springs, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and her half-sister, Jean Cobb.
