Church Point, La.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday April, 4, 2007, at 2:00 P.M. for Gerald Sonnier,61, at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, La., he died at 10:00 P.M. Sunday, April 1,2007 at Matagorda County Hospital, in Bay City, Texas.
Fr. Blair Lope- Sabaricos will conduct the services.
Burial will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Church Point, La.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Andrepont Sonnier of Church Point, La.; two sons: James Sonnier and his wife Amy of Houston, Texas and Coti Remi Sonnier of Church Point, La.; one brother, James Bert Sonnier of Ocala, Florida; one sister, Gertie Mae Boudreaux of Lake Charles, La. and five grandchildren: Travis Sonnier, Crystal Sonnier, Alicia Brosette, Amber Brosette and Meghan Credeur.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed Tuesday April 3, 2007 from 3:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M., and continue from 8:00 A.M. Wednesday until time of services.
A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 7:00 P.M.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Aldus and Ezola Thibodeaux Sonnier; his Father-in-law, Remi Andrepont and his Brother-in-law, Adam Boudreaux.
