Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, La. for Gerald Guillory, 59. Mr. Guillory, a native of Port Barre, La. and long-time resident of rural Acadia Parish near Church Point, died at 9:25 A.M. Thursday, March 20 at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas, La. Reverend Brandon Miller, Associate Pastor of Family Life Church, will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Highway 35 north of church Point.

Survivors include a sister, Geraldine Johnson and husband Randel of Church Point; a niece, Tina Venable and husband Brannon; a nephew, Scott Henry and wife Emily and his great nieces and nephews, Mayci and Treve Venable and Spencer and Abby Henry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Mabel Stelly Guillory; a sister, Geneva Guillory and a brother, Kenneth Guillory.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 21 and continue from 9:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of the services.
