Church Point, LA:        A private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Mrs. Georgie Walker, 86, who passed away on Wednesday night, July 8 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Denham Springs, LA. Deacon Byrne Winn of St. John Berchmans Catholic Church in Cankton, LA will conduct the services with entombment in the St. John Berchmans Mausoleum adjacent to the church.
Georgie, a long-time resident of Church Point who lived her final years in Denham Springs, was the daughter of the late Daniel Richard and the former Mable Savoie.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Riddle and husband Budd of Denham Springs and Susan Inglis and husband Greg of Denham Springs; two sons, Randy Gay and wife Phyllis of Brusly, LA and Brent Gay and wife Coni of Breaux Bridge, LA; nine grandchildren: Leslie, Jessie, Dusty, Brandon, Shawn, Kristal, Travis, Cory and Brenna and ten great-grandchildren: Ali, Kaylie, Riley, Kennon, Rusty, Emma, Makenzie, Sydnie, LeNaye and Saylor. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Walker; two sisters, Shirley Castille and Bootsie Bernard and one brother, Linic Richard.
