Gayle Joseph Daigle's Obituary
Church Point, La.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, La. for Gayle Joseph Daigle, 77. Mr. Daigle, a native and long-time resident of Church Point currently living in Lafayette, La., died at 3:19 P.M. Thursday, May 17 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette. Interment will follow the services in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Church Point.
Preceded in death by his parents, Windsor Edgar "Son" Daigle, Sr. and Ira (Harmon) Daigle and a brother, Windsor Edgar Daigle, Jr.; he is survived by numerous cousins and their families.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of the services.
A graduate of SLI (now ULL) in Lafayette, Mr. Daigle taught English and Art at Church Point High School for many years until his retirement. A well-read man, he was a talented artist and instrumental musician.
