Church Point, LA:      A Memorial Service will be held at a time to be determined by the family for Faron Dale "Pious" Clavier, 61. Mr. Clavier, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Friday morning, August 2 at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Annette Bellard Clavier of Church Point; a son, Cody Clavier and wife Megan and a daughter, Katie Clavier Ray and husband Glenn of Church Point; three brothers, Dean and wife Carmen Clavier, Shane and wife Rachael Clavier and Shannon Clavier of Church Point; two sisters, Deborah Wingate and husband Daniel and Nicole Clavier of Church Point; five grandchildren, Gage, Hannah and Briley Ray and Lucas and Noah Clavier and numerous nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Annie Louise Clavier and a son, Casey Clavier.

A commercial truck driver for a number of years, Mr. Clavier was a hard-working family man who enjoyed life. Truly loved, he will be missed by his extended family and friends. Arrangements are being handled by Guidry Funeral Home, Inc.; 219 N. Broadway, Church Point, LA (337) 684-5488.
