A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Evelyn Ann Comeaux, 52, who passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at her residence.

Msgr. Jefferson Deblanc, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will be the Celebrant of the Mass.

Burial will take place in Body of Christ Cemetery in Branch, LA

Evelyn, a resident of Church Point, LA was the daughter of the late Herbert Comeaux and the former Betty Arabie.

She is survived by one son, Bradley Lavergne and wife Vicky of Church Point, LA; one daughter, Tessa Gianfala of Church Point, LA; six grandchildren, Landon Lavergne, Tamara Cormier, Kenadee Lavergne, Brennan Cormier, Evan Cormier and Jaci Jagneaux; one brother, Craig Comeaux of Church Point, LA; and one nephew, Matthew Briscoe of Church Point, LA .

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Annette Briscoe and Pamela Miller; one nephew, Thomas Briscoe; and two nieces, Petra and Kristi Briscoe.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on, Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and continue on Wednesday from 8:00 am until the time of service. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home Tuesday Evening at 7:00 pm.
