Church Point, LA:     A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, June 4, 2021 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Ms. Emily Ann Guidry, 74, who passed away at 12:45 PM Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at her residence in Church Point after a long battle with cancer. Reverend Father "Pére" Rozas, parochial vicar of the church, will conduct the Mass and she will be interred with her parents in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Hwy 35 north of Church Point. Visitation is limited to the mass and interment.

Emily was born on January 16, 1947 in Southington, CT to Eddie Joseph Guidry and Anna Elizabeth Longo Guidry. Her greatest joys in life were taking cruises with her sister, working in her yard and spending holidays with her family.
She is survived by her sister, Rose Marie Guidry of Church Point, LA; her brother, Dr. Frank J. Guidry and his wife Temperance Mains Guidry of Baton Rouge, LA; her Godchild and niece, Angelique Guidry Manne and her husband Gamon Manne and their two children, Alston and Guidry Manne and a nephew, Robert Guidry and his family of Covington, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
