Church Point, La.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard, La. for Elaine Marie Thibodeaux, 47. Ms. Thibodeaux, a native of Richard and long-time resident of Church Point, died Saturday afternoon, December 17 at her residence. Father Austin Leger will conduct the services with interment following in the St. Edward Cemetery adjacent to the Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Harry Thibodeaux, Jr. and wife Cherity of Morse, La. and Dean Thibodeaux and wife Remona of Crowley, La.; a sister, Wanda Sue Thibodeaux of Crowley; five nephews: John, Coty , Trent and Braelin Thibodeaux and Dustin Benoit and three nieces: Ashleh, Tuesdi and Kaitlynn Thibodeaux.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry, Sr. ("Scamp") and Dorothy (Guillory) Thibodeaux.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 20 and continue from 9:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of the services.
A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday by Deacon Bryne Winn.
