A loving wife and mother, Eileen R. David Bellard, passed away on Aug. 14, 2014. Born August 26, 1923, and raised in Jarreau, LA, she was a teacher, a dedicated member of her church, and a fantastic cook. She had the ability to make anyone feel welcome in her home. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of LA at Lafayette.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Chester F. Bellard, and is survived by three children, Randy Bellard and wife, Marie; Kirk Bellard and wife, Ann; and Betty Barbre and husband, Charles. She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be Wed., Aug. 20 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for prayers for Eileen and her family. If you wish, you may have Masses said for Chester & Eileen Bellard.
