Church Point, La.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Guidry Funeral Home Chapel; Church Point, La. for Mrs. Edison Daugereaux, 87, the former Mary Lou Richard, who died at 5:40 P.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital, Church Point. She was a native of Church Point. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Church Point.
Survivors include her husband, Edison Daugereaux, Sr. of Church Point; a son, Edison "Butch" Daugereaux, Jr. and wife Andree' of Sulphur, La. and her grandchildren.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 14 and continue from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Thursday.
A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday by Deacon Bryne Winn.
