Church Point, LA Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Church Point Pentecostals Church in Church Point, LA for Earnest Gabriel "Brother" Brasseaux, 75. Mr. Brasseaux, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Saturday morning, June 24 at his residence. Pastor Rick Pavlu will conduct the services with interment following in the First Baptist Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include his wife, "Beth" Leone Brasseaux of Church Point; a son, Ben Brasseaux of Houston, TX; a daughter, Mechelle B. Dean and husband Matt of Nederland, TX; a sister, Ruby B. Orsborn of Church Point and two grandchildren, Chase Brasseaux and Bailey Dean.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Herby Brasseaux and two sisters, Mercy Bundick and Leota Elkins.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at the Church Point Pentecostals Church from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Friday, June 30 and continue from 9:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of the services.

Mr. Brasseaux, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Viet Nam Era, was a retired oilfield Rig Manager. As a member of American Legion Post 225 and Woodmen of the World Camp 444, he will be honored with a Flag Presentation Ceremony at the time of services.
