Church Point, La.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 15, 2013 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Duke Radley Olivier, 61. Mr. Olivier, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died at 7:21 P.M. Friday, April 12 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, La. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.
Survivors include two brothers, Dickie and Donnie Olivier of Church Point; two sisters, Darlene Ray of Lafayette and Ann Olivier of Opelousas, La. and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Raleigh and Hazel (Matte) Olivier.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 14 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Monday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday by Monsignor DeBlanc.
