Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Church Point, La. for Donatile Thibodeaux, the former Donatile Lavergne, who died at 8:05 A.M. Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at The Guest House in Baton Rouge, La. Mrs. Thibodeaux was a native of Church Point, La. Survivors include a son, Rodney Thibodeaux and wife Diana of Addis, La.; three daughters: Gloria Matte and Rosie Sonnier and husband Jude-all of Baton Rouge, La. and Unita Fall of Church Point, La.; three brothers: Levins Lavergne of Eunice, La., Wilbert Lavergne of Swords, La. and Daniel Lavergne of Oakdale, La.; two sisters, Joycelyn Lavergne and Willie Mae Olivier-both of Church Point, La.; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Onezime Thibodeaux; a brother, Irvin Lavergne; a sister, Lelia Colligan and her parents, Theodore Lavergne and Lorena Elkins.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday December 12 and continue on Thursday from 8:00 A.M. until time of services.

A recitation of the Rosary will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. by Deacon Jim Cormier.
