Church Point, LA:      A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Mr. Donald Ray Latiolais, 81, who passed away at 3:55 PM Friday, November 11 at his residence. Fr. Brian Harrington, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, will be the Celebrant of the Mass and burial will follow in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Hwy 35.

Donald, a life-long resident of Church Point, was the son of the late Clovis Latiolais Jr. and the former Claudia Venable. He is survived by by his wife of 60 years, Violet M. Latiolais of Church Point; one daughter, Pamela L. Thurston of Church Point; two sons, David Troy Latiolais of Sanford, NC and Brian Edward Latiolais and wife Tammy of Church Point; ten grandchildren, Keanon, Brittany, Tammany, Calea, David, Dustin, Hailey, Lindsey, Blake and Brody; sixteen great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Shirley Latiolais. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Keith Anthony Latiolais; one granddaughter, Chelsea Brouillette; three great-grandchildren, Nyjah Enos and Brenley and Blakeleigh Latiolais and his brother, Aubrey Latiolais.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Monday, November 14, from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM and continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the time of the funeral mass.
