Church Point, LA:     A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Donald Joseph Guidroz, 72. Mr. Guidroz, a native of Arnaudville, LA, died Wednesday evening, October 30 at Acadia-St. Landry Nursing and Rehab in Church Point. Interment will be determined by family, later.

Survivors include a daughter, Ashley Guidroz of Church Point; a grandchild, Annalise Shields of Lawtell, LA; a sister, Susie Blanchard of Arnaudville and four brothers: Ronald Guidroz and CJ Guidroz and wife Linda-all of Arnaudville, Louis Guidroz and wife Christine of Santa Fe, TX and Dicky Guidroz and wife Janet of Porter, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clebert and Velma Taylor Guidroz; a son, Matthew Guidroz; a granddaughter, Emily Guidroz and his siblings: Lawrence and Earl Guidroz, Laurie Deville, Barbara LeJeune, Eulalie "Nookie" Bellard and Florina Smith.

Visitation will be held at Guidry Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until the time of the Service on Saturday.

A driller in the offshore petroleum industry for more than 30 years; Mr. Guidroz was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed horses and trail riding with friends and family.
