Church Point, LA: A Celebration of Life will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Diane White, 72, the former Diane Elizabeth Jenkins. Ms. White, a long-time resident of Texas City, TX and currently a resident of Branch, LA, died Sunday morning, December 23 at her residence.

Survivors include her children, Marie A.W. Breaux and husband Patrick, Deborah E. Lewis and companion Chad A. Romero and Billy K. King; her grandchildren, Antoinette E. Breaux and companion Brandon Z. Reid, Katrina M. McCurry Chambers and husband David, Damien A. Romero and William P. Lewis IV and wife Rosalie; her grandchildren, Anthony T.R. McCurry and Serenity R. Lewis and her beloved pets, dogs "Kemah" and "Licorice" and cat "Baby Girl". She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Theresa Marie Cooper Jenkins and twin infant sons.

After some forty-five years in Texas City; Ms. White made her home with a daughter, son-in-law and grandchild where her family and pets surrounded her with love and care. She filled her life with her family and friends, music, her computer, Mahjong and Match-3 games and Saints and Texans football. The family wishes to thank Father Wayne Duet for giving her the last rites, Pastor Ben for visiting with her and the entire staff of Carpenter House St. Joseph Hospice, including Kathleen Guidry, Janet Batiste, Redessa Besse, Chris Smart and Nicholas Touchet with Via Med, for the excellent care they gave her.
