A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Delores Faye Richard, 60, who passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 1:55 PM at her residence.

Rev. Stephen Ugwu, Associate Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will be the Celebrant of the Mass.

Burial will take place in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery - Hwy 35.

Delores, a resident of Church Point, LA was the daughter of the late Louis Bellard and the former Thelma Matte.

She is survived by her husband, David Richard of Church Point, LA; one son, Brad Lavergne and wife Kristi of Church Point, LA; one daughter, Allison Breaux and husband Brent of Carencro, LA; eight grandchildren, Trae' and Drew Lavergne, Parker Breaux, Morgan and Madyson Breaux, Alexa Lavergne and Haidee and Harlee Mire; and two brothers, Darell Bellard and wife Belinda of Church Point, LA and Marcus Bellard and wife Nicole of San Antonio, TX..

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Carl and Larry Dale Bellard.
Delores was a loving wife and grandmother who loved her family.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on, Friday, August 29, 2014 from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and continue on Saturday from 8:00 am until the time of service. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home Friday evening at 7:00 pm.

Pallbearers will be Brad Lavergne, Trae' Lavergne, Darell Bellard, Ian Bellard, Brent Breaux and Andrew Guidry.
