Church Point, LA:         A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, April 26, 2021 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard, LA for Deanna Marie Daigle, 42. Mrs. Daigle, a long-time resident of Rural Acadia Parish near Richard, LA, passed away Friday morning, April 23 at The Carpenter House in Lafayette, LA. Rev. Wayne Duet, pastor of the church, will be the celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the committal services in the St. Edward Cemetery adjacent to the church in Richard.

She is survived by her husband, Shawn Daigle of Richard; her parents, Michael "Mickey" Daigle and Beatrice Leger Daigle of Richard; her "biological" mother, Tammy Meyers and husband Hypolite "Boo" Meyers of New Iberia, LA; her sons and daughter, Connor, Talon and Sydni Daigle of Richard; a brother, Dex Meyers of New Iberia; a sister, Marci Gregory and husband Taylor of Meridian, MS and her extended family and friends.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM on Sunday, April 25 and continue from 9:00 AM Monday until the time of services. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 7:00 PM Sunday by Deacon Byrne Winn. Deanna, a tireless worker and supportive friend to all she touched, was devoted to her husband and family.
