Church Point, LA Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Friday, July 7, 2017 at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Lawtell, LA for Danny Arceneaux, 61. Mr. Arceneaux, a native and long-time resident of Opelousas, LA, died in an accident Monday evening, July 3 in Lafayette, LA. Father Austin Leger will conduct the services with interment at a date to be determined by family. Survivors include his wife, Patty Cormier Arceneaux of Carencro, LA; the mother of his children, Lorraine Elzey of Opelousas; his children, Candice Andrepont and husband Brian, Rayna Gerald and husband Nicholas and Dani Ellis and husband Jeffrey-all of Opelousas; his brothers: Charles Arceneaux and wife Jane of Erwinville, LA, Donald Arceneaux and wife Pam of Austin, TX, Ted Arceneaux and wife Paula and Wayne Arceneaux and wife Gayle-all of Opelousas-and Francis "Ferdie" Arceneaux, Jr. and wife Connie of Lawtell; his sisters, Lois Fontenot and husband Rollis and Cathy Carriere and husband Murphy-all of Opelousas and Bernadine Comeaux and husband Roy and Margaret Timmons and husband Johnny-all of Lawtell and his grandchildren: Ryan, Grant and Abby Andrepont; Brendon, Blaire and Brooklyn Gerald and Bella and Mason Ellis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis "Ferdie" Arceneaux, Sr. and Ella Fontenot Arceneaux. The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 3:00 P.M. by Father Leger.
