Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Church Point for Mrs. Curley Daigle, 84, the former Lillo Benoit. Mrs. Daigle, a native of and long-time resident of Church Point, died at 3:30 P.M. Sunday, March 28 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital, Church Point. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with entombment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum; Highway 35, Church Point.

Survivors include a son, Kirby Daigle and wife Martha of Opelousas, La.; a daughter, Karen Sue Matte and husband James of Church Point; a brother, Phillip Carrier of Church Point; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curley Daigle; two sons, Randy and Reggie Daigle and two brothers, J.B. and Clifton Benoit.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Monday, March 29 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of the services.

A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday.
