Church Point, La. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard, La. for Crystal Dawn Castille, 34, the former Crystal Dawn Benoit. Ms. Castille, a native and long-time resident of rural Acadia Parish near Richard, La., died Saturday night, October10 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point, La. Father Wayne Duet will conduct the services with interment following in the St. Edward Cemetery adjacent to the church.
Survivors include her parents, James and Sheila Benoit of Richard, La.; her maternal grandmother, Gloria Credeur; her paternal grandfather, Chester Credeur; a son, Hayden Charles Castille of Richard; a sister, Shelby Benoit and companion Wyatt of Richard; two brothers, Scotty Benoit and companion Makylein and Cory Benoit and companion Chelsey-all of Church Point; two aunts, Cheryl Csaszar and Vickie Bourque; an uncle, Tony Credeur and a niece, Haizlyn Benoit.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Vin Credeur and her paternal grandmother, Mary Virginia Credeur.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until 9:00P.M. on Tuesday, October 13 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday by Deacon Bryne Winn.
Pallbearers will be Isom and Jacob Csaszar, Jason Richard, Davis Credeur, Bobby Bourque, Jr., John and Josh Billiot and Christopher Richard. Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty and Cory Benoit and Hayden Castille.
Ms. Castille was a beloved mother and daughter who helped anyone in need.
