Church Point, LA     Craig Robert Thibodeaux entered the arms of Jesus at 2:30 P.M. Friday, May 26, 2017. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Monday, May 29 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA with a memorial service and interment at a date to be determined by family.
Survivors include his mother, Erline Lavergne Thibodeaux of Church Point; his companion, Charlotte Matte; two sons, Brandon Hidalgo and Robert Guillory; eight brothers: John G., Michael, Olan, David, Richard, Albert, Charles and Ted Thibodeaux; two sisters, Mendi Gail Thibodeaux and Martha Carriere; six granddaughters: Anna, Megan and Hannah Guillory, Maddie Hidalgo and Divinity and Rosie Guillory; three grandsons, Shane Polhans and Darius and Damien Guillory and two great-grandchildren, Elijah Williams and Hazel Blanchard.
He was preceded in death by his father, Deacon John Thibodeaux and a sister, Laverne Briscoe.
Mr. Thibodeaux served as an engineer in the Merchant Marine for a number of years.
